Game Day Salsa Cheese Dip

Bring on game day! The KING of dips is in the house!!!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup fresh or store-bought salsa
  • 1 cup Gay Lea Gold sour cream
  • 1 cup Gay Lea 4% Nordica cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup cup diced roasted peppers
  • 1 cup 3yr old Ivanhoe cheddar, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a non-stick pan over med high heat sauté bacon onions, until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to medium heat and add in Mascarpone cheese and Old Sharpe cheese and continue to melt.
  3. Once cheese is completely melted stir in sour cream and stir until completely smooth.
  4. Serve with your favourite corn chip or raw vegetables or Martins Apple Chips.
  5. Chefs Tip: Old Sharpe has 35% cream in it so melts really nicely. If you can’t find it you can use old cheese in a pinch.
